The digital single lens reflex camera is the 21st century version of the 35mm camera (which was the foundation upon which I built my photography career) Today I use digital SLR and digital mirrorless cameras for much of my color photography of the Adirondacks, and they are the primary cameras I use for most of my commercial work.  The small size (mirrorless) and versatility (DSLR) lend themselves to a walk through town, a hike in the woods or a paddle in my canoe.
