Freelance Photography
Mark Kurtz is a freelance location photographer based out of Saranac Lake in New York's vast Adirondack Park. While much of Mark's work has been in New York, he has traveled throughout the United States and Europe for both corporate clients and personal work. For 20 years Mark's work has been the foundation of countless advertisements and annual reports. His commercial work ranges from architectural to action shots, and his photos have graced magazine covers and features from Adirondack Life to Skiing magazine
With his proximity to Lake Placid, Mark has had the opportunity to shoot Olympic sports. Working with the New York State Olympic Authority, Mark has shot World Cup events as well as the inaugural Winter Goodwill Games. He was also contracted to photograph the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. Mark's experience, versatility, and artistic insight has enabled him to thrive on assignments ranging from editorial still photography to multi-media displays.
Mark's rate quotes are per day (plus expenses) or he can present a quote for a specific project.
Stock Photography

He will be happy to discuss your project, usage rights and fees. Mark's usage fees are based on standard stock photography industry guidelines. To determine a fair usage fee, he will need to know the following information about your project:
1.Usage: brochure, print ad, poster, editorial, web etc.
2.Print run.
3.Distribution: USA, World, etc.
4.Reproduction size of image: 1/4 page, 1/2 page, cover, etc.
5.Usage rights: exclusive or nonexclusive.
6.Length of usage: year, month or unlimited
